The 2025 grant application opened June 14, 2024 and closed on August 14, 2024 at noon.
The Town of Silverthorne is proud to be able to support our local non-profit organizations through a yearly grant process.
- Any non-profit seeking support from the Town of Silverthorne must apply through the yearly county-wide grant program.
- Organizations must be tax exempt under the provisions of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
- The Town of Silverthorne considers grant applications once per year. Requests received outside of the designated time will not be considered.
- Applications are available annually in June with an August deadline.
- Funding decisions will be made during the November budget approval process. All applicants will be notified of decisions in December. All funding decisions by Town Council will be considered final.
Town of Silverthorne Cash Grants
- Projects funded must benefit the citizens of the Town of Silverthorne.
- If you received funding in the prior year, a report of grant monies expended in that year, as well as current progress and/or final reports, along with information on the number of Silverthorne residents who benefited from the funding, must be on file in order to be eligible for funding during this cycle. This information must be submitted with the current online application.
- Funding requests of over $5,000 will not be considered.
Town of Silverthorne In-Kind Services Grants
(Pavilion, Fields, Recreation Center, Performing Arts Center)

Performing Arts Center availability is restricted to early January to mid-February, mid-May and early to mid-October.
To submit an application for free (aka in-kind) use of the Town Pavilion, Town-owned fields, the Silverthorne Recreation Center or the Performing Arts Center, the following additional criteria must be submitted online along with the county-wide grant program application.
- Degree to which the event benefits the Silverthorne community and/or the public in general.
- Established history, mission and purpose of the event proponent.
- Degree to which the purpose of the event is consistent with and/or supportive of the goals and policies of the Town.
- Financial ability of the event proponent to bear the normal charges and fees.
- Degree to which the event is self-supporting through attendance fees or other sources of funding.
- Other factors deemed relevant by Town staff in the circumstances.
If your organization is not granted an in-kind use of our facilities, The Town of Silverthorne offers significantly discounted rates for facility use to 501(c)3 organizations. Please contact staff for more information or to request a date. Restrictions apply.
