Hiring Bonus

The Town of Silverthorne provides a $2,000 hiring bonus to new full-time employees. 

• $1,000 after working 30 days 
• $1,000 after working 1 year 

The Town of Silverthorne provides a $10,000 hiring bonus to new Police Officers. 

• $5,000 after successful completion of the Field Training Program
• $5,000 after one year of service post Field Training

The Town of Silverthorne also provides a $400 hiring bonus to new part-time employees. 

• $100 at time of hire 
• $300 after three months working and having worked a quarter of the number of hours required to receive a merit increase, e.g. 52 hours for a lifeguard, when the annual amount to receive a merit is 208 hours.
