Arts and Culture for Businesses

Updated on 07/14/2022 4:05 PM

Become Part of Silverthorne's Arts & Culture Scene

The Town of Silverthorne recognizes arts and culture as an important component of an economically viable and vibrant town. We provide diverse and accessible arts experiences for residents and visitors and encourage local businesses to do the same.

How to Get Involved

  • Apply for a Public Art Grant. Grants are awarded to artists or businesses for projects that bring the community together to share expressions of arts and culture.
  • Install  physical art at your place of business.
  • Incorporate art into your building and landscaping designs. Apply for financial assistance from a town Business Improvement Grant to help fund the improvements.
  • Sponsor a town First Friday, or better yet, attend as a vendor and connect with the community in person.
  • Sponsor a specific art installation or program.

Benefits to Your Business

When your business connects with the community through the arts, your audience broadens, and your business culture is strengthened which helps retain both customers and employees.

"Partnering local artists within local businesses is the most seamless way to incorporate the community around itself. The artists capture the elements of the community with such creative love, that if I can breath that back to residents and visitors that we can support the artistic needs and desires for everyone." - Erin Young, Owner of Red Buffalo Coffee & Tea
