Silverthorne is your gateway to adventure. From the Blue River Trail in the heart of downtown, to the myriad nearby peaks topping out above 14,000 feet, Silverthorne is the perfect basecamp for outdoor recreation in Summit County. Visitors will be hard-pressed to pick just one activity. That’s because we are minutes away from renowned rafting and kayaking and countless mountain bike and hiking trailheads only a short drive from town.

Winter
Many of Summit County’s winter visitors come to ski at the area’s acclaimed resorts; Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Loveland and Arapahoe Basin are all about 30 minutes from town. But, there are countless ways to celebrate winter in Silverthorne beyond the slopes.
- North Pond Park is CLOSED FOR THE SEASON.
- The Nordic Center at the Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks will CLOSE on March 28, 2024.
