Planning Commission
The seven-person Planning Commission (and alternates) reviews all land use development proposals under the guidance of the comprehensive master plan and makes recommendations to Town Council.
Silverthorne, Parks, Open Space and Trails Committee (SPORT)
Volunteers on the SPORT committee advise Town Council on how best to spend lodging tax revenue in accordance with the goals established in the Silverthorne Parks, Trails and Open Space Master Plan.
Police Advisory Committee
The Police Advisory Committee assists the Police Chief in defining, reviewing and making recommendations to Town Council on matters related to public safety.
Art Board
The Art Board aims to create a network of art that encourages travel to various locations throughout town. The committee is made up of residents, staff and Town Council members.
Art Selection Committee
The Art Selection Committee is an ad-hoc committee supported by the Art Board that makes recommendations about permanent and temporary public art installations in Silverthorne.
Events Committee
The Events Committee is an ad-hoc committees supported by the Art Board that assists with the planning of community events that celebrate Silverthorne’s burgeoning artists community and reviews all public events that happen within Silverthorne.
