The Silverthorne Recreation Center expansion project is expected to begin Spring 2025 with an estimated completion in Fall 2026. This project is the culmination of extensive planning efforts, aimed at enhancing the existing facilities with a 23,000 square-foot addition, designed to meet the evolving recreational needs of our community. This expansion reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering a vibrant, active lifestyle for residents and visitors, ensuring the SRC continues to serve as a central hub for health, wellness, and community engagement well into the future. The Recreation Center Expansion Project is funded by the Town of Silverthorne's 8% lodging tax.

These guiding principles have been pivotal in developing a concept that ensures the expanded SRC will support increased physical activity and programming opportunities, while also enhancing the social connections, personal growth, and well-being of everyone it serves. 

Expansion Highlights 

The SRC expansion concept plan is a thoughtful progression from past renovations, designed to enhance the SRC's offerings with minimal disruption to ongoing operations and programs. Collaborative efforts by the design team, staff, and stakeholders are focused on creating spaces and adding programs that address the evolving needs of Silverthorne.
