Town of Silverthorne, CO
Home MenuArt Board
Established in 2016, the Town of Silverthorne Art Board brings together creatives, historians, arts administrators, non-profit managers, business owners, residents, community advocates, representatives of the diverse cultures that make up the Town, and more.
This volunteer committee provides leadership, momentum, and coordination in implementing the Town’s Arts and Culture Strategic Plan and reviews matters related to arts and culture in the Silverthorne community.
Ad-Hoc Committees
The Art Board supports two ad-hoc committees that assist with focused initiatives. Those groups are the Art Selection Committee, which makes recommendations about permanent and temporary public art installations in Silverthorne, and the Events Committee, which assists with the planning of monthly community events that provide opportunities for the community to come together and celebrate Silverthorne’s burgeoning art community.
The Art Board meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. Meetings are open to the public. Volunteer board member positions are open periodically, and all are welcome to apply. Once appointed, board member terms are for three years each.
