Where Art Meets Adventure

Enjoy wide open spaces, thousands of acres of wilderness lands and hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails alongside a thriving arts and culture scene. After exploring, take in Silverthorne’s public art displays, visit the new community art hub at the Art Spot Silverthorne Makerspace, or attend a live theatre performance from Theatre SilCo. Explore the heart of Summit County this summer and find where art meets adventure!


Day 1

Jimmy fly fishingStart your morning with a cup of joe and a specialty biscuit at one of Silverthorne’s newest eateries, House of Vibes Coffee & Curio. While waiting for your morning beverage, check out the curios that make House of Vibes one of the coolest hang outs in town.

Take in the Blue River with a guided fly-fishing trip from Cutthroat Anglers, which backs right up to the Blue’s famous waters. Or rent a paddleboard from Colorado Adventure Guides and test your balance on the waters of North Pond Park.

Enjoy lunch at Bluebird Market, Summit County's only food hall! Bluebird Market features everything from burgers to empanadas to ice cream, pizza and more, showcasing a range of talented chefs under one roof. 

Attend one of Silverthorne’s signature First Friday community events. From arts and food to music and fun, First Fridays showcase the community’s talented makers, artisans and performers.

Cap off your evening with a locally crafted brew from Syndicate Brewing Co. while taking in the mountain views.


Day 2

Sister ActFill up on a breakfast burrito or the trout and eggs at local favorite Sunshine Café before a day filled with fun and adventure!

Silverthorne is surrounded by the Gore Range mountains, the White River National Forest, and the Eagles Nest Wilderness and Ptarmigan Wilderness areas, making it an ideal destination to hit the trail.

After hiking, order some of the best tacos around from Mercado La Perla.

Spend your afternoon exploring a Silverthorne park or playing at the Silverthorne Recreation Center. Soak in the views while kids explore the playgrounds at Rainbow Park, or relax sore muscles at the Silverthorne Recreation Center aquatics area, featuring several pools and an indoor hot tub and sauna.

Treat yourself to something special at dinner time with handcrafted cocktails and American classics featuring global inspiration from Timberline Craft Kitchen & Cocktails. After dinner, enjoy a theatre performance from Theatre SilCo.


Day 3

Start your day with a bike ride down the stunningly scenic and family-friendly Blue River Trail, a 3.5 milespac mural paved path. Before you hit the trail, grab coffee from Red Buffalo Coffee & Tea and a table out on the back patio that overlooks the Blue River . 

Enjoy a Sunday Art Stroll along the Blue River Trail on select Sunday afternoons and experience pop-up artists and musicians while taking in the sounds and sights of the Blue River. If a Sunday Art Stroll isn’t being held, check out Silverthorne's new community art hub, the Art Spot Silverthorne Makerspace. Located in the heart of Silverthorne's downtown, the Art Spot offers a variety of classes and events, along with an artist makerspace, perfect for all ages and abilities to explore their creative side. 

End your trip to Silverthorne with dinner on the outdoor patio at Eclectic Bar & Grill. This restaurant offers a complimentary mix of items, satisfying locals and visitors alike!
