The Town of Silverthorne offers the following benefits to part-time employees, including seasonal employees.

Recreation Center Pass

Part-time employees are eligible for a free pass to the Recreation Center, renewable every six months depending on active employment. Part-time employees may also purchase a discounted family pass. Please see the employee handbook for more information.

Holidays

Part-time employees will receive pay for the following holidays if they meet eligibility requirements:

• Memorial Day
• Fourth of July
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving
• Christmas

Any part-time employee required to work one of the above holidays will be eligible for holiday overtime: paid time and a half for hours worked. Employees are eligible for 8 hours of holiday pay if they:

• Started work one month prior to holiday, and
• Average work week is 24 hours per week, and
• Work regular schedule during holiday week.
