Intro to Ceramics: Trimming on the Potter's Wheel

• Saturday, December 7th from 8:30  to 9:30 a.m.

In this one-hour class, students will learn the technique of tap centering and the ideal rules to follow for trimming various pieces on the potter’s wheel. Students should arrive to class with work that needs to be trimmed including cups, bowls, and plates.

*Ceramics is a multi-step process; pieces will need to be dried and fired in the ceramic kiln and may take up to 2 weeks. You will need to return to the studio once everything is bisque-fired to glaze your pieces and place them on the glazed shelf to be fired again.

Cancellations must be made 48 hours before the class start time. If a cancellation occurs, those enrolled on the waitlist will be added in the order they registered
