Intro to Ceramics: Kids Clay Play

• Sunday, December 8th from 5:30  to 6:30 p.m.
• $20 for Art Spot members $25 for non-members
• Kids ages 5-7
• Instructor: Michelle Woods

This class is suitable for children 5-7 years of age. We will do a planned project allowing for creativity and individual expression while making slab knee bowls. Students will learn surface texture, painting underglazes and forming slabs into small bowls. The class fee includes clay, underglazes, and the firing of the work. For students who are not members, the instructor will apply a glaze to your finished piece for later pickup.

*Ceramics is a multi-step process; pieces will need to be dried and fired in the ceramic kiln and may take up to 2 weeks. You will need to return to the studio once everything is bisque-fired to glaze your pieces and place them on the glazed shelf to be fired again.

Cancellations must be made 48 hours before the class start time. If a cancellation occurs, those enrolled on the waitlist will be added in the order they registered
