Intro to Drawing: Family Portraits 

• Friday, November 29th from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.
• $20 for non members and $15 for members
• Ages 12+ (8-11 must be accompanied by an adult)
• Instructor: Thomas Beveridge 

This class will introduce you to the fundamentals of drawing. You will learn concepts in lighting, composition, perspective, form, and color. Learn different techniques and practice these basic skills with as you work off of still life compositions. This class is a stepping stone to other fundamentals of the art world and is great for an introductory class or to brush up on your skills.

Bring in a photo of your most loved (or hated) family or individual. Explore portrait drawing basics. Utilize proportion, measuring, layout and shading. Discover how to draw eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and facial expressions in a realistic style.
