Intro to Drawing: Figure Drawing

• Thursday, November 21st from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
• $20 for non members and $15 for members
• Ages 21+

This class will introduce you to the fundamentals of drawing. You will learn concepts in lighting, composition, perspective, form, and color. Learn different techniques and practice these basic skills with as you work off of still life compositions. This class is a stepping stone to other fundamentals of the art world and is great for an introductory class or to brush up on your skills.

In this quick sketch class you will explore drawing basics. Introduction to measuring, proportion, shading, and gestures while utilizing a Wooden Mannequin as the subject. Quick sketching, no erasers required, learning to use each pencil stroke to help create shape and form. 

 This class is for ages 21 years and older due to the presence of alcohol. Participants may choose to bring their own alcoholic beverage to this class. Any participant who brings alcoholic beverages to a bring your own beverage class must sign and adhere to the Art Spot Alcohol Policy. This policy will be signed upon class check-in.
